ARMA II is a game of reality fiction. The year 2009. It is a military simulation game for the PC developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio. The protagonists: soldiers special kind of special forces being established. The place: a former Soviet republic where it heats fictitious. ArmA II is like a tactical FPS with enemies to kill, vehicle use and much more.

Featuring the most realistic warfare gameplay to date; The ArmA II offers the opportunity to explore its highland area as well as the small Chernarusian island of Utes. More specifically, the ‘boot camp' missions are all available which act as tutorials for the game's many disciplines including helicopter flight, unit command and base construction. In addition, the full single player mission ‘Trial By Fire' from the main campaign and the multiplayer map ‘Mini Warfare', allowing ArmA fans the chance to trial three multiplayer modes are included in the demo. A selection of over 20 vehicles, more than 25 weapons and various soldier and civilian models will be included, although these represent only a fraction of those available in the retail version.

War, almost true

Walking in the path opened by the eldest of his rangers, ArmA II fully incorporates the unique concept created by Bohemia Interactive: simulator soldier. At the edge of the serious game, it is far below current productions. Put simply, imagine that this is a Battlefield in much more realistic, where the lower setting is taken into account. The sighting system surprise those familiar with Counter-Strike or Quake is much slower and less accurate. Impossible here to 500m gallop, jumping a barrier and to bring the fire in your mind... your soldier can not, it will be exhausted. We must manage breathing, wind speed, the decrease of the weapon, the distance of the target account. Each shot, each ball costs. Each exchange of gunfire can be fatal, and return home in bodybag is not an option.
