Are you a Music Freak with much addicted to cell phone? don't worry you have a kin,you should definitely consider the Nokia 5310 Mobile Phone. and you can have the mobile in your pocket with out losing more bucks

This new music orientated phone defines exactly the same great features, design and technology as the original Nokia 5310 Red but with new Blue colored accents on the exterior casing. The Nokia 5310 phone is smooth,it sports an attractive candy-bar design of having thickness of 9.9 mm, the phone is still perfect for listening to your favorite tunes while jogging or travel ling what ever...

Nokia 5310 Xpress Music a standard candy-bar form, At 4.1 inches by 1.8 inches by 0.41 inch, the 5310 is the trimmest Nokia we've seen, if not one of the thinnest phones ever. pretty much classic for Nokia's bar handsets. Without looking too flimsy or too stylish, Because of the low size thickness, almost all the important ports and keys have been moved on top of the device. the small charger port sports on the left side of the phone, while the right side includes the dual volume key, on top of the phone you may find the microUSB port, the 3.5 mm jack port and the Power button. The Comes With Music edition phones are available in a choice of 7 different colours that differentiate the phone from the normal 5310.

The display of the Nokia 5310 mobile phone is seductive. It features a 240 X 302 pixels display, with 16.7 million colors. On the display you can enjoy several text messaging features, such as picture messaging, SMS distribution lists, and concatenated SMS.Below the display is the easy-to-use navigation array. The square toggle is raised above the surface of the phone, can be set it to act as a shortcut to four user-defined features, while the center of the toggle functions as an OK button. You'll also find two soft keys and the Talk and End buttons. These controls are flush, but they're also fairly big,but the 5310 has no dedicated back button.

The 5310 emphasized on music. The phone book holds a healthy 2,000 contacts with room in each entry for five phone numbers, an e-mail address, a URL, a company name and job title, a formal name and nickname, a street address, a birthday, and notes. You can organize contacts into groups or you can pair them with a picture and one of 28 polyphonic ringtones. Other essentials include a vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging alarm clock, a calendar, a to-do list, a notepad, a calculator, a countdown timer, and a stopwatch. The most disappointing feature that 5310 XpressMusic possesses is the 2 Megapixel camera.. The camera mixes the colors without any clear algorithm making pictures look very strange sometime. It takes about 5-6 seconds till the camera is activated and about 10 seconds to save a picture. , as you'll get unclear photos if you moved your hand right before pressing the camera button. The interface settings for the camera are standard, just like the quality of the pictures.

Mobile is all about its music player, and here again Nokia succeeds. As we've said before, the Xpress Music handsets offer everything you want in a music phone, including ergonomic controls, few restrictions, and satisfying audio quality. Features include an equalizer, shuffle and repeats modes, and an airplane mode for listening to tunes while you fly. What's more, you can create playlists and play music via Bluetooth. The player supports, MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, and WMA files, and you can use tracks as ringtones. The Nokia 5310 does not merely look and sound good. It compensates for its tiny 103 mm x 44 mm size, with several fantastic features. The tri-band EGSM 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz networks let you be truly global in a globalized world. Meanwhile, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity will give you some options when downloading your beloved songs and ringtones.Even if it lacks 3G technology, the user can still take advantage of the GPRS (Class 32) or EDGE (Class 32, up to 177 kbps). Data transfer tests revealed above average results when using the EDGE technology: 136 Kbit/s download and 57 Kbit/s upload.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic runs on a S40 5th Edition interface, which is the latest user-interface coming from Nokia. If you had a Nokia handset before that didn't have a Symbian OS, then this candy-bar will probably feel the same. the S40 seems unchanged on the surface and offers the Nokia 5310 user an excellent experience. Nothing has really changed and you'll notice the same menus, submenus and icons, even the same animation. Nokia's Series 40 5th Edition UI enables users to experience streaming videos, image rendering, mobile 3D graphics and scalable 2D Vector graphics. The Series 40 5th Edition also supports the latest version of Adobe's Flash Lite 2.1, the interoperable platform that enables the accelerated development and delivery of rich graphical mobile content, and includes audio file playback and streaming capabilities that provide audio and music enhancements to both mobile gaming and multimedia experience.

The 860 mAh Li-Ion battery has an officially stated life expectancy of 300 hours in standby and about 5 hours in talk time mode. What we got was 4 days of use: 20 minutes calls per day, 10 minutes Internet navigation everyday. Additionally, the 5310 promises 18 hours of music playback time, but we got just 12 hours in our tests. According to FCC radiation tests, the 5310 has a digital SAR of 1.25 watts per kilogram.

It is pretty clear that the candy-bar targets teens who are looking for a music phone. Easy handling, the size of a dedicated MP3 player and simplicity will undoubtedly make Nokia 5310 handset a serious competitor on the music phones market.. Its stylish look and above average features such as: sound quality, battery life and dedicated audio chipset, recommend this phone as one of the best music phone made by Nokia The 2 Megapixels camera is simply to slow also mobile fails to have 3G

Re: Nokia 5310 Xpress Music Review

The 5310's look is very playful and seems to be directed toward younger users. It is mainly covered in black and dark gray, but two bands on both sides of the screen, are colored. They give the phone a nice touch and there is a choice of purple, red and orange. Although made of plastic, has a nice feeling to it and not slip. When we were writing a message, each one is a little rounded and the slimy surface made it easy for the finger to roll and press the button just above or below it.
