Overview

It offers accurate and predictable motion reporting up to 60 inches per second, performance over a wide range of speeds, and accelerations covering the demands for various gaming applications in either low 100dpi or turbo charged 3200 dpi settings. The surface of this mouse is very pleasant to the touch, a soft touch.



At the level buttons, the thumb is to dedicate 2 buttons, default next and previous are assigned. You can change the speed anytime during combat. The dpi toggle with LED status indicator gives on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment to match mouse speed to your game environment.



USB 2.0 certified which allows blazing speed and instant acceleration up to 1,000 reports/second and bidirectional connection. On top, a gray plastic surrounding the wheel, it is serrate. Above, an indicator light 4 positions, off, one, two or three bars lit, it indicates the level of resolution:800-1600-2400-3200 dpi by default.

The software

The special design of the OCZ Behemoth application software is an easy way to reset your gaming profiles and various mouse features. A mini CD allows direct access to software settings without installation on the hard disk. Two tabs and Profile configuration allows fine-tune the level of resolution, after 1,2,3 or 4 tiers.



You can change all the defaulted functions of each profile to be your own personalized favorites, including data strings and command libraries. Profile allows to assign 4 buttons and wheel, either for standard functions, combination of keys or macros. With this last feature it is possible to record keystrokes as those minutes, for example, or breaks.



Conclusion

The grip is a very personal depending on the size of his hand and its habits in respect of a mouse. About its weight of 159 grams, it is 6 g less than the MX 1000 and 40 g more than the MX518.
