Packaging uses black color scheme-blue for the usual NZXT products, and on the front shows a picture of mouse Avatar lit. On the back of the pack features are listed in four different languages, while the bottom of the box have the specifications and requirements of the system. Opening the door box we reveal on the one hand a scheme of the mouse with its functions, and on the other hand, we have Avatar mouse, protected by a plastic cap. We again see that NZXT has given great attention to detail, because NZXT metal logo on the right under the mouse. And in the left door in the box, accessories are hidden, meaning a small but detailed manual and a CD with the driver necessary.

May be removed one black box to reach the mouse, which was well-protected during storage and transport.

    Software

NZXT Avatar can be used immediately after it was connected to the computer, but if you get all the 7 buttons and custom settings, it is necessary to install software mouse. Installation is very easy and requires a restart at the end of the operating system for the changes to take effect. After restart, the application can access the mouse icon directly NZXT bar downstairs.

When we go to menu, start with the advanced features (Advanced Features), we can assign new functions of the seven buttons and the scroll wheel, if we can select the right or left and we can check if there are updates of the software. In the bottom panel is where we can create up to five profiles, or can simply change the mouse speed and the rate of polling, which refers to how many times per second to check the USB controller if there is activity. Then we got tab for sensitivity, which of course we let you adjust the sensitivity separately for X and Y axes, and the cursor speed and acceleration.

Tab for advanced settings is the last and enables us to change the scroll speed and double-click (double-click), but the sensitivity.

    Testing
Once powered, the blue LED lighting both edges and the IPR, which certainly give a different aspect mouse. Unfortunately, for the test can not only provide a subjective opinion, the field mouse's still being pretty subjective one. Using mouse Avatar few days already on a mousepad SteelSeries Quick, to my opinion can make a cat exactly and tell me how well matched mouse in games and in more relaxed circumstances, the office.

First, the mouse is very easy, very easy alunca over the SteelSeries pad and buttons to push with the utmost ease. The two macro buttons are very useful for an immediate exchange of IPR, then go to applications which require higher speed, the others in that we need a great precision. Regarding accuracy, I think it is excellent and that NZXT Avatar is very responsive. Macro buttons and play a more important role in the games, which go through totally different situations. For example, in a game FPS (First Person Shooter), when we pass from a quick action, can an ambush, a sniper position, we need a great precision, which translates into a lower speed, NZXT Avatar that we can provide almost instantly, so you benefit from the accuracy desired in the appropriate moments. Resolutions of 1800dpi and 2600dpi excellent fit for action games, while the 650dpi and 1200dpi offers excellent comfort for your type of office. I used the easy buttons' back '(back) and' before '(forward) from the side, which have proved useful for browsing the Internet.

The only small inconvenient is the position of the macro buttons are not always easy to find without a peek over them.
