"Cooliris" Meet Your Browser's Best Friend

Cooliris (formerly PicLens) instantly transforms your browser into a full-screen, 3D experience for viewing photos and videos on the Web. Cooliris blows up your Web-surfing experience into a larger-than-life graphical experience. It takes the images it finds on nearly any Web site, expands them to super-extra-large size, and then lets you surf through them in a classy scaling interface.

Browse faster -- Preview links and images without leaving your current page or tab. Just mouseover any link, and a separate preview window immediately appears to show you the content.Cooliris provide a fast, cinematic way to discover the web. It's plug-in takes you to an expansive "3D WALL" that lets you browse thousands of images, videos and more easily and with speed.

Photos and videos will come to life via a cinematic presentation that goes well beyond the confines of the traditional browser window. With Cooliris, browsing and viewing media on the Web will never be the same again. Search sites like YouTube, Flickr, Google Images, deviantART and more. You can visually shop at Amazon.com and you can discover content from sites like ESPN, MSNBC and BBC, as well as movie trailers and the latest pop culture.

Not only can you view the web page, you can surf it without opening another window-good for searching Google images. If you do want to open it in another window, you can, of course. The most convenient feature for me was being able to send a site-link to a friend without having to open either another tab or your email program.

To prevent a pop-up fest, Cooliris makes it so that you have to hover over a little blue box before it opens up.

Long Description:-

  • Preview web links, images, and videos without leaving your current page or tab.

  • Turn previews on/off on any specific site by clicking the CoolPreviews icon on your browser status bar (bottom right corner)

  • Customize preferences to control preview window activation, time delay, size & position, etc.

  • View Google & Yahoo Image Search in full-screen slideshow mode

  • Instantly send links to friends and family with just a click.

  • Automatically subsearch Google, Wikipedia, and many others by right-clicking on any phrase
  • Temporarily bookmark items to the right column with our unique "stacks" feature
