KIDO'Z is a program made famous by the Adobe AIR runtime that allows full compatibility for all three major operating systems used and seems to work really well. The games are presented nicely, very rich in color and nature, education among other things. The filters are excellent, and therefore "useful" and is the most appropriate setting for this program. To offer a better service, it requires a registration to the service, as to make the parent, the first launch.

The browser is completely free and can be downloaded from their website. The software can be downloaded from this page, but it should be remembered that this will not work if your computer does not have already installed Adobe Air, which can be downloaded here.

The browser is already loaded with thousands of video clips categorized into Animals, Funny Stuff, Cartoon, babies etc for quick access. The interface of the browser is very neat and clean and has been designed accordingly, keeping in mind the children.

Verdict

You don’t have to search for stuff on the web as all the hard work has already been done by the Kidoz team. They have taken the best websites and YouTube videos appropriate for kids and arranged them inside Kidoz - the interface is as intuitive as a public kiosk so children as young as 3-4 years should be able to use the software without the assistance of parents.

A software to appreciate and that will certainly be bringing the kids of up to 10-12 years in the world of the network, most often occur at which inhibit their access to so many, almost always right, reasons. A drawbacks, unfortunately, that the software is still in beta, so it may have some bugs still to be resolved. Despite everything, however, is highly recommended!

In my opinion this is very useful as kids now increasingly using the Internet and teaching the basics at an early age is difficult because the crap sites increase as the eye can see.

Suffice it to say that to find the film xxx (the one with Vin Diesel), 3/4 of the results are porn sites.

Excellent review, I knew only Bumpercar as a browser for children, only for Mac and Shareware. Please understand, however, that this Kidoz, created on Adobe AIR is efficient as a commercial browser.

If I may make a brief comment on the world of children and the Internet, it's always easy to find the negative side and always difficult to find positive sides.
