    Nokia N76 Review

    Introduction

After the N71 and N93 (i), Nokia unveiled its N76, a new bi-valve model running the Symbian OS S60.Much more than his elders, it is also much more elegant in her dress (largely) based on the Motorola Razr V3. Gradually arriving in the shops, the N76 is sold at about Rs 13000/-, which may seem slightly too high given the features.

    Content package Nokia N76

The box adopts the style of the latest Nokia Nseries. Its box contents include:

    • The N76
    • A battery 700Mah
    • A USB cable
    • A stereo headset
    • A micro SD card 256MB

    Design of the Nokia N76

Small disappointment at the first Sight is that everything is plastic. While V3 and 6300 have a metal hull, the N76 sold more expensive While the manufacturing quality is generally very correct, but we could expect little better. On the outside, we find the secondary display, and three shortcut keys, mainly dedicated to music player.Good point, Nokia continued to use standardized connections, ie the mini USB output and a 3.5 mm audio jack. But poor implementation of the jack make it impossible to complete opening of the phone if your headphones are connected. The buttons for adjusting the volume and trigger the camera / video recorder are on the edge of the terminal. On the other hand, we find only the connection charge. Once opened, we find that the keyboard has also inherited the design of the Motorola V3. This type of keyboard had already been implemented on the Nokia N93i. In addition to a successful aesthetic, this generation of keyboards can save space, especially in thickness. The keys are large enough pleasant to use, except perhaps the keys "c" and "pencil".

The OS and menus Nokia N76

The operating system is Symbian S60, in its latest version 9.1. The menus are similar (who said the same?) That found on the Nokia N95.

    Menus

The menu navigation is fast, the same like as the other S60 models of the manufacturer. Small novelty nonetheless: menus can be displayed in "horseshoe" and "v" in addition to the conventional view list and not icons.

    Nokia N76 Camera

The performance of the camera are limited to the lack of auto-focus and better resolution. Too bad, because even a phone ultra flat as the Samsung U600 has a 3.2 Mpxl sensor with auto-focus. Note that taking pictures via the external display is quite possible, and you can even find the settings pictures via the three buttons below the screen.

    Re: Nokia N76 Review

    Positive points:

    1. Line and finish
    2. Audio Quality
    3. Network Reception
    4. Screen (size and quality)
    5. Keyboard pleasant to use
    6. External screen
    7. Mini USB jack and 3.5 mm

    Negative points:

    1. Excessive Price
    2. Plastic shell despite the price

    Conclusion on the Nokia N76

First real clamshell smartphone oriented "fashion", the N76 lack of functionality when you look at the price requested. While the finish is good, the screen is very nice not to mention the system responsive and very comprehensive, but the wi-fi, a better image sensor and why not a metal hull would certainly have justified such a price.

Another small disappointment: the battery supplied with the N76 has acapacity of 700Mh, which could be just enough for large consumers of telephone calls. Do not exceed two days with normal use. Telephony side of pure quality listening and sensitivity are very good network, as usual with Nokia.
