First episode of the next gen hit series, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage was first thought for the Microsoft Xbox 360 on which it was released in June. In the process, however Bugbear has embarked on an adjustment to our dear PC. Adaptation has however raised by quite a few questions: if one refers to the Xbox 360 version, new techniques and are essentially both races, environments, competitions or mini-games, Things have changed little since FlatOut 2 ... There is of course a race simple way to participate, on time, at any of the events listed above, but without having to move circuits. Finally, note the presence of a team that is a kind of multiplayer, but with a single lever: two to eight players in the passing alternately. Finally, a multiplayer mode is on the agenda, but attention, it only works via the Microsoft LIVE! If all options that can be expected are the party (free games, games, all events solo mode), it is absolutely impossible to achieve LAN parties! One wonders why such a choice and we doubt that many fans will be at least as disappointed as we are. The comprehensiveness of the competitions is well in the meeting, provided that you do not know FlatOut 2 of course!

Otherwise if you know by heart the second opus, it must be said that Ultimate Carnage does little interest other than technical. As noted in the introduction, this is the first opus of the series truly next gen. If the word is a bit hackneyed these days, acknowledge the real efforts Bugbear achievement level. FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is by far the most beautiful of the series and the excessive use of physics gives good feelings during the races.
