HP NX9000 - Synaptics touchpad, mouse and keyboard problems
I have some kind of issue with the HP Compaq nx9000 notebook. The mouse and keyboard of this laptop is not working properly. The mouse pointer normally stops or gets stuck for 1-2 seconds on the screen at normal movements and then continue to work and this happens every 10 seconds or so continuously. The keyboard will sometime type blank and it will also miss some symbols without any reaction. I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed on this HP laptop and all the drivers are updated as well. The only thing that is not working is that the battery is dead and I have also turned off all the battery controlling issued in devices. Can anyone please help me out.
Re: HP NX9000 - Synaptics touchpad, mouse and keyboard problems
Even one of my friend was having similar problem on his Acer laptop. There was no response from the Synaptic keypad but the USB mouse worked fine and then keyboard only recognized if key depressed for more than 10 seconds. The character was also not repeating at all. I then found out that the issues occured when running on the mains with a fully charged battery attached. It was working well, when the battery had low charge or it was removed as well. So, after when I purchased a new battery everything started to work perfectly.

Thanks for the information mate, I will try to change the battery and see if that will fix the problem for me or not.
