In Windows Vista:Task bar hangs And (right click) NEW option Not coming.
My taskbar hangs suddenly after sometime of working. It mostly happens after starting and closing some big programs like HD movies or after closing some big games. I then have to close the explorer and start again. Again after some time, the taskbar hangs and stops working. I am unable to use even start menu because of this task bar issue.
Also another problem is that, my mouse is not running the option NEW when is right clicked. Whenever i try to create a new folder or anything in the NEW option, as soon as i click it, the whole system hangs. After login-off and then login-in again, if i again try to access NEW thru the mouse right click, the system again hangs. What is the solution for this problem and also the above problem?
The OS i m using is Vista Ultimate.

Help is needed before the problem spreads from the application (which had previously run properly for years) degenerates into UI degradation.
