Flight Simulator X Graphics Card Not Supported
I’m running a Windows XP desktop with ATI Radeon 3850 AGP 512MB DDR3 RAM Shader Model 3.0. I recently tried installing Flight Simulator X but it says it won’t support my Graphic card. Hence I updated it to Service Pack 1 but still it says it will not support my card. So I thought upgrading it to SP2 may fix the problem but while doing the same it says:
“You must have a graphics card that supports Shader Model 1.1 or later.”
Can somebody please provide me any suggestion what I need to do now?
Re: Flight Simulator X Graphics Card Not Supported
As far as I know ATI Radeon 3850 AGP 512MB DDR3 RAM Shader Model 3.0 was launched after the release of FSX so I guess the is some misdetection for the card. Anyway I think the problem can be fixed by installing 8.4 catalyst drivers (released 4/16/08). You can download the drivers from http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_ca...=xp/radeonx-xp. It should probably fix the problem but if not, reply with other configuration details of your system.
