codec codes for Sony handycam

I have few video recordings taken from my Sony handycam which I need to create a movie using Movie Maker on my Windows XP computer. But as the videos are in RAW format they are not getting imported in the movie maker. So I wanted to know if there is any codec for Movie Maker which I can install and convert my videos in AVI using Movie Maker. If yes, please let me know soon.

There is no codec for Windows Movie Maker. But as the problem is RAW files not getting imported in Movie Maker, you can simply convert the raw files into compatible format for MM.
