Vista Ultimate crash - Bad Pool Caller
Almost everytime I access a network drive, Vista will crash with following
message:
Bad Pool Caller
0x000000C2 (0x00000007, 0x0000110B, 0x0A10205, 0x8B5D0448)
Any suggestions, running Vista Ultimate SP1 and updated all drivers, BIOS
and chipsets.
Dell Latitude D830 - All laptops with Vista Ultimate and PGP 9.6.1 in our
Active Directory SAN environment are having this problem.
Re: Vista Ultimate crash - Bad Pool Caller
Hi,
PGP 9.6.1 is not listed as being compatible with Vista. You may need to
upgrade to version 9.8, which is Vista-compatible.
Re: Vista Ultimate crash - Bad Pool Caller
I found this at the PGP website.
Is PGP Desktop supported on Windows Vista?
This answer pertains to PGP Desktop and Windows Vista.
Answer
Any version prior to PGP Desktop 9.6.x (e.g. 9.5.x, 9.0.x, 8.x) is not
supported with Windows Vista. Version 9.6.x supports 32-bit Windows Vista.
Currently PGP Desktop is not supported using 64-bit operating systems.
