Group Policy - gpedit.msc file not present on the Vista premium
I just bought a laptop installed with Vista Premium and when i tried to open
the group policy management console, it says gpedit.msc file does not exist.I
checked the system 32 folder and it does not have it either.Can anyone
please advise me as to what i need to do in this case.

It does not exist in that release.
If you are accomplished at reading spreadsheets, and reg editing, you
can download the entire Gpedit, as a spreadsheet, and alter anything you
wish. See here:

GPEdit.msc only lives in installations of Vista XP Pro <---> Vista
Ultimate, Business, or Enterprise.
If you want it, you will HAVE to install one of the above editions of
Windows.

I Have Vista ultimate & Didn't installed SP1 Yet,
and I have the same problem!
any suggestions?

try using mmc.exe and adding the snap-in
