Re: unable to install Flash Player in XP
Hi Buddy,
Here are 2 solutions to install adobe flash on win Xp machine
Method 1:
You need to unblock the adobe publisher
Follow the below steps (IE 8)
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
3. Click the Content tab, and then click Publishers.
4. Click the Untrusted Publishers tab, click the publisher you want to unblock,
click Remove, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to unblock that publisher.
5. Click Close, and then click OK.
Now just visit www.adobe.com and install the latest version of flash

Method 2
When you download and install Flash Player from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center, the download uses the Adobe Download Manager. Instead of using the Adobe Download Manager, you can download and run the Flash Player installer manually.
1.If you haven't already done so, Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player which you can download from
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_1916...main_Uninstall
2.Select the manual installer depending on the browser you use. Select one of the following:
Flash Player 10 ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flas..._player_ax.exe
Flash Player 10 Plugin (All other Windows browsers, such as Firefox or Google Chrome)
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flas...ash_player.exe
3.A File Download dialog box appears. Select Save. (If you are using Firefox, select Save File).
4.Print these instructions and then close all applications.
5.Open the folder in which you saved the file.
6.Double-click the file name to run the manual installer.
7.Select the license agreement and then select Install.
8.When the installation completes, select Done.
9.Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about. If the installation was successful, the page displays the Adobe Flash Player version.
