Software For Movie Making

Hello...

Guys I am looking for a software which will help me creating slide shows along with the music in it. Also to rip movies and modify them. I used to use Windows movie maker for all this purposes till now but realized that it doesn't work perfectly for everything and moreover it takes lot of time. Anybody knows such softwares which can be downloaded?

A free one would be more nice ;)

try Ulead DVD Movie Factory 5 or 6, and Pinnacle Studio in pinacle you can save slide show with music or voice over plus transitions you could even use the title editor and create your own titles to go with your slide show.
