HOWTO: Install MOSS a.k.a. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
When I try to install MOSS 2007 on a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
operating system that runs in MS Virtual PC 2007 on my Windows XP notebook, I
get a message saying I need to install the .Net Framework 3.0 first.
My notebook has a Verizon FIOS internet connection that works superbly on
the XP system.
When I open Virtual PC 2007 and run the virtual Windows Server 2003
operating system, I can't seem to setup/connect my virtual system to the
internet.
The installation of the .Net Framework 3.0 requires a connection to the
internet to perform the install: You can't just download a file, put it on a
CD, and run it from within the virtual server.
How can I connect to the internet from the virtual Windows Server 2003 so
that I can get the .Net Framework 3.0 installed?

Re: HOWTO: Install MOSS a.k.a. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
This is more a Microsoft Server 2003 issue in that I can't create a new
internet connection because of the increased Internet Explorer security
inherent in this operating system.
I checked with another small business that uses Microsoft Server 2003 and
they have the same problem: can't create a connection to the internet.

Did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem.
