Can I disable Parental Controls?
I have Windows Vista Ultimate.
Every time I turn on my computer, a little pop up window tells me to set a
password for Parental Controls.
HOWEVER, I do not need Parental Controls - I am the only user of the
computer and I have not activated the Guest Account or created any other user
account.
How can I stop this annoying pop up window from popping up EVERY time I turn
on my computer? Disabling Parental Controls? How do I do it?
RE: Can I disable Parental Controls?
Go Control panel, parental controls...click on your account photo and choose:
Parental controls OFF
activity reporting OFF
i hope this will help.

RE: Can I disable Parental Controls?
This did NOT work, Dobos, because I have Vista: when I click the account, a
pop-up windows asks if I want to give the account a password... No other
options to turn Parental Controls off are available there. Thanks, anyway...
Re: Can I disable Parental Controls?
If you do not want to use Parental Controls, you can Stop and Disable
the "Parental Controls" service to get rid of the pop-up.
