Adobe Flash Player...Unable to install.
I am using Windows Vista Home, installed it just last week. But don’t know why I’m not able to install Adobe Flash Player. Tried various Flash versions but every time installation gets failed. I need to install it anyhow because there are many sites I visit need Flash player.
So please help me out installing Flash on this Vista. Thank you.
Re: Adobe Flash Player...Unable to install.
I strongly suspect you have something left from earlier flash player installation on your system that is conflicting with the new setup and hence you are not able to install it again. So do one thing, just download the Flash Player uninstaller from here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/...r-windows.html . Run it and remove everything you see about flash player.
Now downloaded the fresh copy of latest adobe flash player and try installing. Hopefully you wont be getting any problem now.
Re: Adobe Flash Player...Unable to install.
As far as I know about Adobe products, they wont work properly if your UAC is disabled. So, follow the steps mentioned above by RaAbi and after that go to Start, type UAC and enable the same. Then start the installation. Better restart the computer after enabling UAC. It should work.
Re: Adobe Flash Player...Unable to install.
Nope, i dont think this one doesn't require UAC enabled. Adobe Reader disappeared off my system for that reason and others..
Re: Adobe Flash Player...Unable to install.
Thanks for all of your helps guys. That really worked. I followed your instructions, ran that removal tool, enabled UAC, restarted computer and installed a fresh copy of Adobe flash. Now it got installed smoothly and working fine. Help appreciated.
