Microsoft Kernel GS Wavetable Synthesizer I have been having an issue with this particular piece. I installed some software that required Midi, but it wouldn't play because it said I didn't have any Midi output So I checked my device manager, and in the Sound tree, I have an unknown device. So I try to update the unknown device, and it says it is going to update 'MEDIA'. So I try the update, and it says 'There was a problem installing this software: "Microsoft Kernel GS Wavetable Synthesizer" An error occurred during the installation of the device The data is invalid So I have searched around everywhere, posted in tech support forums here and there, but have never gotten a response, only another guy who had the same problem. I am by no means an idiot when it comes to computers and such, but I have no idea how to fix it. I am running a Core2Duo 4400, 2gigs of RAM, x1950Pro, on an Asus P5B-VM SE motherboard OS is XP Home with full updates (As far as I know) |
