Microsoft Office Document Scanning 2007 version
We want to upgrade from Office 2003 to Office 2007. Except for document scanning, everything is working fine. If I am trying to scan from the Canon printer, the program shuts down. I am able to scan into the clip organizer with no issues and 2003 version worked fine too. I have downloaded the firmware for out printer and I made sure that it is the latest one. Below is the event log message that I am getting:
Faulting application mspscan.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4541757d, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.762, stamp 45712238, debug? 0, fault address 0x00014ca3.
Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.
Re: Microsoft Office Document Scanning 2007 version
I assume that you might be mizing 2 different scanner functionalities that could be either the MS Office Document Scanning Component from MS Office Document Imaging with the previous version "Insert from Scanner/Camera Link" in the office app menus. The first one is intact in Office 2007 but the presets have had issues with certain scanners, actually the one that are using 48bit resolution or sheet feeders. The menu command - scan from Camera/Scanner that can be used in all of the apps still with a small workaround.
Re: Microsoft Office Document Scanning 2007 version
Even I am facing similar problem with my HP OfficeJet printer. I had Office 2003 installed on XP before and that was running fine with this printer. Now the built-in Microsoft Office Document Scanning in Office 2007 ends to that specific error message every time I try to scan.
