Dynamic Volume Offline in Disk Manager. Invalid in DiskPart
I am trying to extend my internal storage space. I am having around 4 hard drive installed. The total size of the same goes to 1.7TB. Now I added one more which will be my 5th hard drive. It will goes above 2TB. I connect the drive and went into Disk Management. The drive was reflected there. I extended the volume and it looks that it is working quiet fine. After a few time the system was entirely freezed. There was no response not even the mouse was working. I through Vista will crash. But on hard reboot the system went back to normal. The drive is not detected and I got a error on the screen that the operation was invalid some parameters specifies were incomplete and it crashed.

This looks some issue with Vista. You can try re-extending the volume and till the time the process is on do not touch or make any changes. I hope your hardware does not have limitation of the same. Did you checked what amount drive is supported by Vista. It is necessary that you must use ntfs partition only to avoid such errors. Just try back one more time and check again.
