make all windows open full screen but not maxmised
id like to be able to get all of my windows to open in a way that makes them
fill the whole screen, but without being maximised. i hate having to manually
adjust each window, and sometimes the just reset themsevles to the default
size. is there a way to do this?
its just im still not keen on the full screen border idea microsoft have used
thanks
Re: make all windows open full screen but not maxmised
If I understand you right all you should need to do is sae your orig. IE
window maximized.
You need to actually manually stretch it to fit the screen. Unfort. IE 6+
will not save maximized.
At least that is what I have found to be the case.
After IE is closed your browser should open as a full screen. You may have
to also resize any
desktop shortcuts you've saved.
Re: make all windows open full screen but not maxmised
no sorry i mean any window in general, i can get it to fit the whole screen
by manually resizing, but sometimes it resets and things such as my computer
get small again, i would like ALL windows to open as big as possible without
maximising
Re: make all windows open full screen but not maxmised
This program will help you re-size all your windows to an exact, predefined
size, which you can configure with your own window-size settings (it works
with Vista):
Sizer v3.3
RE: make all windows open full screen but not maxmised
As per the previous post and link I found by opening any window and in the
minimized window view, I then would click and drag the bottom right corner or
any corner to the size I liked then close the window it would save that size.
It worked for me without and software download. Not sure if this is what you
were after.?

After several hours of registry hunting, I have found the solution to this problem. I will have the steps to take to solve this problem on my website very soon (by 10:30 PM Central Time December 1st):
