0x80070035 Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium error
Since yesterday I was running with Vista systems, which were Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Basic. Both system were connected to the same home network and there was no problem using file sharing on any of these computers. Today I bought “one click upgrade” for Home Basic edition and upgraded it to Vista Premium.
There was no problem during the upgrade but I’m no more able to use file sharing between these two computers. I checked all settings twice, everything seems to proper but still the problem remains. Any idea what is wrong with the upgrade?
Any help please?

Re: 0x80070035 Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium error
I had the same problem...When I access some network PCs / servers at some point (after 15 mins) the connection is lost and I get this error message. I can ping the server but not access the pc...It seems tha something timeouts!
The pc after that was not able to shutdown properly (remained at logging off...)
No solution whatsoever in fora or Microsoft.
Try this workaround that WORKS for me (unbelievable...)
I used the sync center of Vista - for offline viewing of network folders. I created an empty folder the pc / server that I am interested in viewing and made it to synchronize for offline viewing every 5 mins. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
I still cannot believe that this works... (at least for me...)

Re: 0x80070035 Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium error
I had this error and have tried many things which I found on several forums.
In the end what fixed it was the following (for Vista):
1. Press the Start button
2. Press Networks
3. In the left-hand menu, press "Manage network connections"
4. Right-click "Local Area Connection" and select Properties
5. Check "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" - this was unchecked for some reason
Re: 0x80070035 Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium error
I had this message when trying to connect to shares on a Windows XP machine from a Windows 7 box.
The solution was to disable TCP/IP v6 on the network adapter on the Windows XP machine, OK that, then go back into the same network adapter properties on the XP box, and the Windows File and Print sharing may now be disabled. Re-enable the Windows File and Print sharing. That's it.
Weird but true, it seems that file and print sharing on the XP box had somehow only been bound to TCP/IP v6, rather than v4. And who uses v6 at home??!
