exception processing message c0000013 - AVG anti-rootkit
I have got AVG installed on my pc and in the AVG anti-spyware I am getting the "No Windows Disc" - "exception processing message c0000013 etc" error. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem with this antivirus software, have already removed and reinstalled it and also updated to the newest definitions but nothing is working. Also, I found AVG anti-rootkit on their website, can anyone tell me what its use and can i use it in safe mode?

I am also facing the same problem and I think that it is affecting many different applications on my computer. I have been using it on my four different computer which are also using some different security software till date?

Even I have started to get this annoying kind of problem on my system and it happens only if I start up my laptop but I have found something that this error message only occurs when I connect the card reader that I have into the usb port of the laptop without a card being inserted as well. Hope that this will be of some help.
Re: exception processing message c0000013 - AVG anti-rootkit
I have found that its a drive:\pathname to a Word Document on a USB flash drive for which I gave a quick launch icon. I was hoping that XP did not like there being no such drive and its drive letter allocated till the time I plugged in the pen drive. Until I clear the "recently used documents list" by going into Start > Settings > Taskbar and Start Menu > Start Menu tab > Customize (Classic Start Menu) > Clear, then the issue seems to go away, so anyone else can also give it a try and hopefully it will work for anyone else.
