How to uninstall a Windows Media Center application in Vista?
This is the first time when I used Windows Vista and its Media Center as well. I open media Center and visited AOL Music on Demand. Later I found that several icons were added in my music and Photo trees. This is really very annoying. I though thought it can be fixed by uninstalling AOL Music on Demand from Add and remove but it was listed nowhere. Neither Media Center is listed.
Do you guys know if there is any way we can remove these apps or the unwanted icons added? Thank you.

You cannot remove Windows media Center because it is the Windows built-in component. However, i guess you can disable it from Turn off / on Windows Components under control panel. But instead why dont you try removing those icons from the library Just click Start, click Run, type: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.. Now Select all the files (not folders), and then click Delete on the File menu.
