How do I disable the on screen keyboard
Hi,
This is HP Laptop running with Windows Vista Home Premium. Since past week whenever i boot up my system the on screen keyboard automatically appears on the screen everytime. I dont know why and how but it is very irritating. Can anyone please tell me how can i permanently disable on screen keyboard in Vista?
Thank you.
Re: How do I disable the on screen keyboard
Just go to Start > Control Panel >Ease of Access. I had the same problem when my wireless keyboard stopped working and somehow that on screen keyboard appeared. I posted here and a MS person helped me. Spend some time in Ease of Access and you'll find out how to turn it off. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Then click on "Use the Computer without a mouse or keyboard" (most probably the 3rd option in the list).
Then on next page uncheck the box which says "Use On-Screen Keyboard".
Click Save button n ur done.
