I’m having a Windows XP desktop since past 6 months and it was working fine. Suddenly something went wrong and now whenever I turn on my computer for the first time it wont load desktop properly. I mean my desktop shortcuts and wallpaper wont appears. Then I use to log off and log in again to get my actual profile load properly.
This happens every time I boot the system. Is there any fix for the same?
Hope you have a good antivirus installed on your system. If yes, I’ll suggest you first run a deep scan of your system because this could be because of malware as well. If it is fine then Run A disk clean up on your Drive. Also check your Event viewer if there is anything listed about this problem (it should be there). If you found anything please post the same here. Another reason for this problem could be any of the Start Up programs. So you should try Clean Boot to see if you have Lots of start up applications.
