On Boot-Up Error : Savedump.exe Entry Point " symsetsymwithaddr64 "
This is windows XP laptop which was running fine since a year without any problem. Recently I started getting problems with it. Every time I start the system I get an error message saying:
“Savedump.exe Entry Point " symsetsymwithaddr64 " could not be located in the dynamic link library DBGHELP.dll”
I don’t know what happened suddenly. I dint made any changes apart from upgrading IE to version 7 and installing Pinnacle Studio 10.7 Video Editing Software. I installed this software just about 5 days ago. I tried searching solution for this error on web but only found people saying to restore the system to any earlier restore point. Well I already tried that but my XP is not able to restore the system as well.
Any other suggestion/solution please? Thank you.

Hi IndrneeL. Even i had exactly the same problem on my XP couple of months ago, however i dint used that video software ever. Anyways, after spending few days finally got it fixed. What you need to do is go to Start > Run type "sfc
/scannow" and press Enter. This tool is built into WindowsXP.
This will check your system files and fix it automatically if there is anything wrong.
