SYSVOL Replication Problem
I have just added 2 new Windows Server 2003 Dcs to my company which made a total of 4 DCs. Everything was working properly, then I demoted the 2 year old DCs. After that, I am getting the SYSVOL replication issues. I followed some microsoft KB articles to solve some errors, but there are still some error that I am getting when running ntfrsutl sets is:
ACTIVE REPLICA SETS
DOMAIN SYSTEM VOLUME (SYSVOL SHARE) in state STOPPED
DELETED REPLICA SETS
Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.
Re: SYSVOL Replication Problem
You can try to configure Active Directory diagnostic event logging in Windows Server 2003 and in Windows 2000 Server, just follow the steps given here - http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;314980
Re: SYSVOL Replication Problem
Thanks for responding, I am not getting many events now. By doing some testing, the only thing that is not replicating is the Sysvol but AD is replicating properly. I have added and modified a user or a group, etc; and it is still replicating right away. It will just not replicated amont the Sysvol.
Re: SYSVOL Replication Problem
Have you tried to check the share permissions? You can even try to browse to the share add/delete thing which if so, then might be kind of pur it on FRS problem or something.
