How do I clear the recently browsed list in Picture Manager?
I have several pictures stored on my hard drive, some of them are hidden. I’m using Office 2003 on XP. Recently I was working all those hidden images in Microsoft Picture Manager. Now this PC is also used by few other members of my family whom I don’t want to show that images but it is no appearing in the Recently Browsed section of the Pictures Shortcut pane. So I wanted to know how can I remove them from this section or is there any way I can turn off recently browse section in Picture Manager?
Thanks for the helps.

Recent History of Microsoft Picture Manager is saved under a file named “OIScatalog.cag" which use to be located at C:\Documents and Settings\pwarirel\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS. You will need to delete it to remove the list of images from Recently browsed section because I don’t you this file allows us to edit it. However there is no risk in deleting this file because it gets regenerated when you will open Picture Manager next time.

Microsoft has made Windows Very Secure but it is useless unless you use its security feature. If you have problems showing up your activities to others then why don’t you just create an another (limited) account for your other Family members and keep an secured Admin account for yourself only.
