Keyloggers are programs. They work in your pc if you install them. Because you already offering a maximum permission to execute and record your key strokes. If you are suspicious about any kind of files which look like key logger then it is recommended that you must remove it. The procedure for removing app is simple. For removing any application you have to click it on launchpad and do not release the key. You will get a tiny icon on the top to remove it.

Re: Does mac systems are prone to keyloggers
Mostly keyloggers are installed when you run keygen type of things in your system. In Windows this is very common but in Mac things are bit different. The same is applicable to Linux also. Windows is the most vulnerable one. But Mac and Linux are different due to their platform. So here it is right if you can have a good antivirus in your system. That will be enough to protect your pc from different kind of threats. You dont have to worry much about malware and keyloggers.

Re: Does mac systems are prone to keyloggers
Keyloggers are program. They work when you install them and when they have full permission to record your keystrokes. This things does not install or work on their own. This are just like a software. Many free and pirated game or applications comes with this. You are asked to install additional toolbars or other stuff in your system which are infected with malware or virus. And they get active. It is always good to use a good antivirus if you think your system has a virus issue.

Re: Does mac systems are prone to keyloggers
You can install any free antivirus in your system which is enough to resolve the problem. The one that I know is Avast. Just install this and done. If there is any security issue this antivirus is good enough to detect and remove it. You dont have to worry much about the same. There are ample of good free and paid antivirus available online. You can test them out. Always keep your firewall on and install software from trusted sources only.
