How to speed up your Android browser
Today android platform is quiet popular for web surfing and internet chatting. But a number of time you face slow browsing issue when you try to visit a website. It is very common with android browser that it will lag or free when you are trying to checkout a few videos or reading online news. There are few things you can try to boost your browser speed. For that you have to follow the steps below. You can also share any information you have that can help to increase the browser speed and make it more better.
Reducing Running Applications: Try to add a good task killer software. There are ample of them available on Google Play. Just download and install them on your phone. Whenever you thing your phone is slow you can run that to wipe out the background applications. It will release the ram which can be later on utilized by the web browser.
Avoid multiple tabs: When you open different tab the browser will crash. I got a low memory message ample of time on my entry level android phone. The browser just crash and restarts on its own. It is so annoying and slow. Here if you are using UC Browser then better use a single tab at a time. Do not keep on opening up multiple tabs or choose phone with 1GB ram.
Chrome://flags: If you are using Google Chrome then you can simply modify some settings. Type chrome://flags in the address bar of chrome browser. Search for Maximum tiles for interest area Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android. Tap on default and set the value to 512. Then check back. Chrome will perform much faster.
Turn off GPS: If you are not using your phone for navigation then avoid turning on GPS. Many apps try to access your gps location and give you results on the basis of that. So better turn it off. It will not trigger one more process which affect the browser performance.
Opera Mini: Opera Mini is very smooth and fast android browser. It works effectively in giving you a proper output. You can install this in your phone if you are not happy with your existing browser. This browser has some ready to use settings that can boost your phone output more.

For any phone if you have a 512MB or lower ram then it is better to avoid using launchers. And when you install app disallow apps to use gps or location. Because that is the one thing that slow down your phone. Task killers does not help much. Second thing if you have a 3G connection then your internet speed will be more better compare to 2G and this also will make your browser work faster.

Open the Chrome Browser
Type or copy/paste chrome://flags into the URL bar
Scroll halfway down and find “Maximum tiles for interest area” (#max-tiles-for-interest-area ) in the list
Tap the Dropdown menu titled “Default” and change to 512. (Try 256 for older devices with less than 1GB RAM)
Tap “Relaunch Now” at the bottom to confirm the changes

Good tips, another one is to shut off images. This is useful if you're just planning on using the browser to search for info as it will only load up text, not images which you don't need.
Helps save data too if you have a limited data plan.
