Inside Antec GX700 -

Being a Mid-Tower case the space remains somewhat limited if you are willing to add a liquid cooler. Like in the above image. We are using Antec Kuhler H20 920. To gain a bit space connecting the radiator on the top side with single fan will help.

Antec GX700

Inside at the right side you can see there are 5 x 3.5inch tool-less hard drive bays. You can use SSD's also on it. The entire panel is not removable. You can hook any regular hard drive on it. But for SSD's you have to screw them separately in the center.

Antec GX700

You can add up a full size gpu in it. Antec GX700 supports graphic card upto 11.5inch in length.

Antec GX700

At the top you can see inside there are two fans connected. You can also add a water cooler radiator.

Antec GX700

Antec GX700 has simple cable management. You can use cable ties to hook the lying cables leaving a bit more space inside. The case provides you 5 fan support overall. This also makes it ideal for overclocking. The solid metal body makes it durable and bit rust free. Antec GTX700 provides many benefits over a regular cpu case. It is also ideal choice when it comes to upgrade because it is not limited to space for storage.

Re: Antec GX700 Mid-Tower Cpu Case Review
PC Assembly is very easy and quick. If you are adding a liquid cooler then it is essential to decide the placement because improper placement can block everything inside. It takes less than an hour to configure everything. There is very less planning needed. For psu you have the lower panel. You can add any regular size power supply. In our system we had used Antec EA-750 EarthWatts Green PSU. A powerful 750watt power supply. We had also used Nvidia 650Ti graphics card that fits well in the center part. Above that we are using Antec Kuhler H20 920 liquid cooler. The radiator is placed on the left side where a 140mm fan was installed. You can add 240mm radiator on the top side if you need a better cooling solution.

Antec GX700

You can also use multiple gpu easily on it. The main issue lies with the psu. If everything is placed properly then it is very easy to manage the cables. Attaching drive is the simplest thing on Antec GX700. To add an optical drive, open up the snap on plastic from the front side and push the drive inside. That's it. The fan controller on the front side can help you to manage speed and save a little power also. When you are not playing games or overclocking you can keep it on minimum. Antec GX700 is a value for money product. It is durable and has ample of space to connect various things inside. You can build a regular or an extreme machine as per your need. Anyone who is looking for a budget case but with good features can go with Antec GX700. Things only get limited if you overload the case with liquid cooler, multiple gpu and an extreme psu. The drive bays are permanent. It cannot be moved or removed due to which you cannot add a bigger size gpu.

Antec GX700 Mid Tower Case comes for Rs.4500. You can buy it from Snapdeal. One thing I will recommend is to buy a good psu if you are going to build a gaming pc. Buy a combination of Antec PSU and Case. This case brings ample of benefits for any pc. It offers you good ventilation due to multiple fan support and it is also easy to clean. It has a sturdy look. The dust filter provides you easy maintenance. Through multiple fan support you can keep your system cooler at extreme usage. The fans are quiet. There is no noise at all. The tool-less drive bays are time saving. Overall Antec GX700 is a smart choice. Strong design makes it a long lasting solution. The internal cables if not mounted properly can create issue. That is because of mid-tower size limitation. At the front side you get USB 3.0 port for fast data transfer. I was expecting led on the fan that can add more to the look. Overall I do not think Antec is charging really high on GX700. It is not easy to get all this features at this price range.

  • Sturdy Design
  • Tool-Less Drive bays
  • Fan Controller
  • Front HD Audio
  • Ideal for mid range gaming pc
  • Non Latch based Side Panel.
  • Permanent Hard Drive Bays.
