How to update HP Officejet Pro 3620 firmware

You just have to connect the printer on an active internet connection. Here we will see how to run firmware update on HP Officejet Pro 3620. The printer comes with a single Ethernet port. With active internet connection the printer does update on its own. There are two ways of running firmware update. First through the front LCD panel and the second one is through HP Embedded Web Server.
HP Officejet Pro 3620 Firmware Update through front Control Panel
Step 1: One the front Control Panel press the ePrint button. The printer will check connection with the server and will give you an ePrint mail ID at the end. Wait back.
Step 2: Then press the Setup button from front display and go in Printer Update.
Step 3: You can enable Auto Update from here. This will add a new firmware whenever it is available.

HP Officejet Pro 3620 Firmware Update through HP Embedded Web Server
Step 1: Type the IP address of Printer in your web browser. If you are not aware about the IP address then from the front LCD display press Setup > Network > View IP. You will get the IP address.
Step 2: In the web server click on Web Services tab.
Step 3: On the left side you can see Product Update. Click on it. Click on Check Now. You can also enable/disable Auto Update from same page.
