Roll back to IE10 from Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 Preview
I am running Windows 8.1 Preview in my computer and today I got a new update for upgrading Internet Explorer 10 to Internet Explorer 11 version. So, i installed it and later came to know that I was having trouble with compatibility in IE11. Now am trying to downgrade from IE11 to IE10 again but I cannot find any information on how to do that? So is there anyone who can help me out? Thanks
Re: Roll back to IE10 from Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 Preview
Even I had compatibility problem in Internet Explorer 11 and when I asked microsoft about how to reinstall Internet Explorer 10 on my pc uninstalling the IE 11, then they told me that IE 11 is a part of Windows 8.1 operating system and therefore it cannot be uninstalled. So, in order to remove Internet Explorer 11, we will need to uninstall Windows 8.1 preview as well. Now am stuck on how to totally uninstall this Windows 8.1 update?
Re: Roll back to IE10 from Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 Preview
There is no support to uninstall the Windows 8.1 Preview. But it might be possible to restore your computer to factory condition. Incase your computer came with Windows 8 preinstalled, then you will be able to restore it back to Windows 8 by using the PC Refresh option. All the personal files will not be affected but all the applications will be uninstalled and you have to reinstall it again on your pc.

Yes, the only way to downgrade Internet Explorer 11 to Internet Explorer 10 is to remove the Windows 8.1 preview update completely from your pc. And for this you will again have to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows 8 on your pc. You can even try to reinstall Windows 8 by creating a bootable Windows 8 bootable usb disk. It seems that Internet Explorer 11 has a lot a bugs and only after a future patch or update, the problem related with it can be solved.
