Losing sync to monitor after updating Intel DZ77GA-70K to BIOS 0045
I have an Intel DZ77GA-70K motherboard in my computer. I was in need some other BIOS as the default BIOS present in the motherboard didn’t have certain options that I needed for overclocking. I asked my friend about which BIOS would provide me with the needed settings so that I can get the overclocking done for the processor. He had BIOS 0045 and it had the required option. So I flashed my motherboard with BIOS 0045 and the computer started losing sync with monitor. Is there anyone who can help me?
Re: Losing sync to monitor after updating Intel DZ77GA-70K to BIOS 0045
I don’t think that Intel DZ77GA-70K motherboard should not work properly with BIOS 0045. I have seen many computers with motherboard having BIOS 0045 flashed on it and they are working fine. I don’t think that there is any problem with the BIOS 0045. I suggest that you should pull out the power plug and take out all the peripherals like Graphic card, RAM, processor and so on from the motherboard and again connect them. Maybe the connection between them needs a restart so that the BIOS can configure them from the start.

What graphic card are you using in your computer. Maybe it is causing trouble with BIOS 0045. Try flashing the BIOS in your Intel DZ77GA-70K motherboard with graphic card detached. Once the flashing is complete with the computer running fin, you can again attach the graphic card. If the problem persists, then I think that the graphic card is not compatible to work along with BIOS 0045. According to me, the BIOS 0039 is the most stable version of BIOS that you will ever find for Intel DZ77GA-70K. So I’ll suggest you to give it a try too.

Is the BIOS 0045 made to have fast boot in the computer. If yes, then it might be causing the problems that you are facing. The fast boot feature needs to have high end hardware configuration. I don’t know exactly which graphic card and other peripherals support this feature. But if you don’t have any of this part, especially the graphic card, then this might give you problems. I suggest that you find another BIOS that will work perfectly with your Intel DZ77GA-70K.
