BSNL Penta T-Pad IS701C Tablet now available for Rs. 4,999

Pantel Technologies has recently launched a cheap tablet called Penta T-Pad IS701C, It is another tablet in the race of cheap tablet, T-Pad IS701C is directly a competitor for Micromax funbook, it is delivering almost same specification and features at lesser price. Micromax funbook costs around 6,500 rs where as Penta T-Pad IS701C is for Rs. 4,999. As per India market that’s a big difference. Pantel Technologies have allied with BSNL for exploring their tablet to the mob. IS701C comes is a 7-inch tablet with cortex A8 1 GHz processor, its display serves 800x480 pixel, full angle, TFT, LCD, capacitive multi-touch screen. Powered by latest Ice cream Sandwich (ICS) IS701C is a perfect combination of hardware and software. IS701C supports wifi with 3G USB dongle, Other than these things IS701C has USB 2.0 port, micro USB port and 0.3 MP front camera. It comes loaded with applications like Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds, Skype and many more. It has 512 MB DDR III RAM with, 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro sd card.

T-Pad IS701C is not the first tablet launched by Penta In India, they had launched T-Pad IS701R (Rs. 3,250) , T-Pad WS704C (Rs.10,999) and T-Pad WS802C(Rs.13,500) previously in partnership with BSNL. These tablets had got quite a good response from the mass, Penta had crossed 1 lakh pre-order bookings with mentioned tablets. Low and medium budget tablets are getting good response from the mass in today’s Indian market and that’s what made Penta to come out with T-Pad IS701C with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 only.

Yes I agree that it can be a competitor for Micromax funbook 7 inch tablet. I have heard that it is having better battery life as compared to funbook. I really hope that’s true, one of my office mates has bought funbook recently and he is not able to get more than 4 hours of battery life. The only thing that is disappointing me is it support list for dongles, in India there are number of companies offering dongles and I see leading ones missing, one of which is Tata photon.

BSNL 7 inch Android Tablet is a good tablet by BSNL. I bought it before a week. I have a great experience with it. I bought it @ Rs. 4,999/- with cod and free shipping :thumbup1:
