Absinthe 2.0 Jailbreak Tool for iOS 5.1.1 Devices now available for Download
Announced earlier this month on Twitter by the hacker pod2g of Chronic Dev Team, the tool for achieving an untethered jailbreak for terminals running IOS 5.1.1, is now available for download on the Web. This jailbreak tool is called "Absinthe 2".
The jailbreak, generally translated as "unlock", is the action that opens a normally closed operating system to a third-party applications that are not allowed by default on the IOS devices. Available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, the software Absinthe 2 allows you to jailbreak a terminal equipped with an iOS 5.1.1, whether old or new generation of iPad or an iphone, or a second-generation Apple TV quite easily. Just install Absinthe 2, connect the device to a computer and launch the program by clicking on "Jailbreak."
As is the case for all the jailbreak, a flaw in the Apple OS is here exploited: for without doubt, the Cupertino company will address it in a future update but in the meantime, users who want to run Cydia - that is installed when handling - can already download Absinthe 2.

Absinthe 2.0 works just like its predecessor, that is to say, very simply, since the procedure is performed with a single click, once the device is connected to your computer. But be careful to save all your data via iTunes before proceeding, because failures occur, although this is rare. We must then restore the device, which stores all data that you saved.
