Can EVGA GeForce GTX 680 do 4k resolution over HDMI

I am willing to get EVGA GeForce GTX 680 but then I just wanted to know that can EVGA GeForce GTX 680 do 4K (4096 x 2160 or 3820 x 2160) over HDMI, I have found Radeon 7970 but then I am not sure about the GTX 680, I have asked the same in other forums as well but then I have got varying answers for the same so is there anyone who has an complete idea of the same and can clear out my doubt?? Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

Re: Can EVGA GeForce GTX 680 do 4k resolution over HDMI

I have checked out the nvidia website and 2560x1600 is the max resolution so I think that EVGA GeForce GTX 680 can do 4 k resolutions over HDMI, this is what I have found:
The HDMI 1.4 standard supports
  • 3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high @ 24Hz /25Hz /30Hz
  • 4096 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high @ 24Hz
  • Max resolution listed per video output, HDMI/DVI/DP is 2560x1600.
I have not yet found them to be listed as being supported, I think that we will have to probably wait for someone who have tested this out to reach this thread as there has been a lot of confusion by now, I have found some specs saying that it does where as some it does not.
