How to record video at 1080p on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

I was just going through the user manual of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and noticed that there are some problems in 1080p Video capture which I am unable to understand. The user manual states, "Use your device’s built-in Camcorder to record high-definition video in 1080p resolution." But when I read through all the pages it was further mentioned that the resolution options are 1280X720, 720x480, or 640X480. So can anyone tell me what I have to actually believe? As the rear camera is 3MP, I believe it’s able to record at 1080p.

Hey even I have a same issue as I am unable to understand does it offers the 1080p resolution or not because manual has some inconsistencies in regards of the Video recording options. This is something which is making me think between the ipad and the Galaxy Tab 2. So I hope someone has a answer for this as I tried to do some research for this but have no confirm notifications on the camera resolution offered.

Hey guys will like to tell you that there might be some printing error in the manual because of which you are getting confused. One of my friend has bought the new Samsung Galaxy tab 2 and he is successful able to record videos at 1080p resolution. So yes you can record the video at 1080p resolution. You can go and search on the YouTube the test videos have been uploaded.
