activate gprs in YXTEL C6 china phone

Which mobile service provider are you using in your YXTEL C6 china phone? You need to contact the appropriate sales person of the mobile service provider that you are using and ask them to send the gprs settings on your mobile phone number, once you get it, you need to simply save it on your phone and then you can surf internet without any problems on your mobile phone.

I had tried that thing on my old china phone. This does not work at all. I am not able to understand the issue behind that. I had spoken to the customer care a number of time but still they are not able to helpout. They say they don't have specific internet settings for unbranded phone. So there is nothing we can do. I had switched to another phone which is a Samsung device and the same internet is working nicely on it. You have to do the same. Instead of messing with the manual gprs changes try to get a new branded phone.

Depending on your network provider you can go ahead with the manual settings and it might work. Most of the grps settings are common. You just have to keep the GPRS APN, Username, Password and Gateway Address ready with you. You can add this manually in the network settings and the net might work. But remember that many telecom providers does not provide access to phone which does not has any IMEI number. So you have to check the same properly.
