sync Nokia contacts from its PC Suite to iphone?
Hi there,
I just sold my Nokia N8 so I backed the contacts up to the Nokia Suite on my PC. My iphone arrives tomorrow and I need to move the contacts from the Nokia Suite to the new phone. How do I do this without the old Nokia and without Ovi since that has been discontinued.
Plain English please as I'm not a great techie! :whistling

I think that you have to use the Nokia PC Suite available from Nokia to transfer your contacts to outlook. You will need to then sync your iphone through Itunes with outlook- the extension for the contacts to work is a vcards extension. Once you have done this- you should have the contacts from your nokia phone on your iphone.

Re: sync Nokia contacts from its PC Suite to iphone?
When you open your Nokia pc suite software on your computer, there is the second option which gives option to synchronize data's to outlook. You just need to click the drop-down menu and select the program you want to synchronize with your device. In this case, choose "Microsoft Outlook." Click "Next." tarotee, maybe use something like copytrans contacts to import the contacts entries from your PC to your new iPhone?
