Ridge Racer Unbounded cars cannot destroy a building
I am playing Ridge Racer Unbounded and during the gameplay I noticed that cars that look weak and delicate can destroy columns that support a bridge or break walls of buildings. If this event is compared with some real event then, every time the car has broken down when smashed into wall or support column. How is it possible for an exotic car to smash walls and columns which is a difficult task for a heavy car? Even a war tank will need to hit a support column twice to destroy it. This is just insane and totally unrealistic. Does anyone else feel the same way too?

Yes I too found it bit strange. I mean how one destroys another car by just smashing into it. The environmental objects in the game world seem to be made of cardboard or simple wooden planks from the looks of breaking of it. In real life, if someone crashes a car like Ferrari into a pillar, the front part of the car will be crushed and broken into hundreds of pieces. But in this game, the car actually breaks the pillar. A heavy truck will need to smash into such pillar more than once that too with a good speed to break the pillar.

The bigger question is how does the driver in the car which breaks other cars and pillars survives the crash. Support columns are made of lots of concrete, metal rods and other hard materials. The pillars are made strong enough to support a bridge or a building along with the weight of people and cars that can climb and stay on it. The support columns and pillars can withstand earthquakes of medium intensity. Such strong pillars can be broke by measly cars seems too funny. Funnier than this is the fact that car doesn’t get damage other than few scratches.

Come on, this is just a game meant for fun and entertainment. If you keep comparing it with real facts and physics, then it will become just another game like Need for Speed. You don’t expect people to keep thinking if one should avoid some object or not. People play games to get away from stress of daily life. So people expect something that is unusual and won’t require them to think much. So this game has this insane destruction.
