Will character get knockdown in blast in XCOM game?
I wanted to ask an interesting thing regarding XCOM. If a grenade come near of any of the character then will character would be knocked down by the blast? If so I really wanted to see it. it will also add the depth of making use of explosive ordinance by the temporary knock out of the powerful enemies even they are survived into the attack. I think combat would be really great if soldiers or aliens would through heavy explosions.
Re: Will character get knockdown in blast in XCOM game?
If the above mentioned thing would happen in the game then I am sure that we would have sliding bodies on ground. It would be isometric. As far as I know this particular game is not having physics engine.
Re: Will character get knockdown in blast in XCOM game?
I could not expect anything if this game is not using physics engine. However I am wondering that sliding bodies would be quite better than that of no knockback. We know that this particular game is turn based . I have found some games which are turn based and did not deserve physics engine as it is utilizing lots of resources. The only benefit to not have a physics engine is that there will not be any glitches.
