“Restore on AC Power Loss” function available on Asus sabertooth 990FX
Hello friends, I was thinking that is there any method to set the "Restore on AC Power Loss" as an option in the motherboard’s BIOS, if the power is been lost then it will start the machine automatic. I am not able to get anything regarding that and also there is no related option in the advanced mode also. So anyone you know or it is possible to have it? Please tell me about it. Thank you.

I do not think that it is great idea to implement. When there might be a power failure then there might not shut off of the power, even the power will be keep on going on and off rapidly a number of times before it is fully power failure. Where starting and stopping the power of the computer rapidly then it will be bad for the components, if that will be occurring then there might be spikes in the problem. It is best then you let your machine remain off until power is fully restored. I do not think there is any specific reason to have it.

Whole system is been plugged into a two serial regulators and also there is no sort of electrical anomaly like spikes or instability in the voltage where the regulators does not allow power to reach the power supply till the time it is been stabilized. Even the UPS will work when the power failure doesn’t last for longer time to deplete the battery before the power is restore. Done some research on this and founded a method deactivation of the ErP option which is there in advance menu which shows option which are been related to power. It will be really nice that there is any such option in the bios so that I can activate and deactivated according to my usage.

Well according to the EuP / ErP the total AC power of the computer should be less than 1.00W that also in the off mode. If you need to have the EuP / ErP standard then you can get those motherboard and power supply which are having the EuP / ErP standard.
