Microsoft exchange pop3 connection error
Most of the users have comprised our e-mail on our ISV server and desire to utilize the (built-in) pop3 connector to pop the entire mails into our local exchange server. Regrettably the pop3 connector in addition deletes the entire mails commencing from the ISV server subsequent to it has popped them into exchange, this means they not be able to utilize our ISV webmail. Is it accomplishable to configure the pop3 connector to leave a copy on the server. Just presently similar to when I configure a normal pop3 account in outlook.
Re: Microsoft exchange pop3 connection error
If this you have to acquire a third party pop3 connector. The connective for POP3 Mailboxes service attachs to and logs on to the remote POP3 server. The connective for POP3 Mailboxes service downloads e-mail messages and stores them in the undermentioned folder: %PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\\Networking\POP3\Incoming Mail. When the entire the e-mail has been downloaded commencing from the remote POP3 server, Collaborative Data Objects (CDO) on the Windows Small Business Server-based system renovate the e-mail messages commencing from the Incoming Mail folder.
Re: Microsoft exchange pop3 connection error
The headers of these e-mail messages are altered to indicate with the intention of the e-mail messages determine to be directed to a local Exchange mailbox, and then the e-mail messages are saved to the undermentioned folder: %PROGRAMFILES%\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\PickUp. If the CDO not be able to shift an e-mail message to the PickUp folder, the e-mail message is position in the undermentioned folder as an alternative: %PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\\Networking\POP3\Failed Mail. If an e-mail message is imperfect, it might not be shifted to the Failed Mail folder.
Re: Microsoft exchange pop3 connection error
I am sure it is not possible to configure "leave a copy on the server" with the built in POP3 connector. Have you solved the problem?
