I am trying to install windows in my computer with the help of USB DVD RW and when I connect my USB DVD RW with computer at that time BIOS does not recognize it. I don’t know what is wrong with that but that problem is frustrating for me. If any one have solution regarding this then let me know.

If you have connected your USB DVD RW with front USB ports on your cabinet then I will suggest you to disconnect the USB DVD RW from there and after that you have to connect your USB DVD RW at the back panel and afte that you have to check whether it makes any difference or not.

If you have connected the USB DVD RW at back panel of your computer and after that also if you are experiencing the same problem then I would like to tell you that you should first restart your computer and then go to the BIOS setting. now after that you have to check whether "USB Legacy Function" is enabled or not. if this option is not enabled then you should enable that from BIOS and after that you have to save that setting. After saving the setting you have to restart your computer and then you have to check whether it makes any difference or not.

I was also having similar issue and then I have first thought that problem is wit h my USB DVD drive and I have tried that with different PC and with different PC it was working like a charm. Now after that problem is with BIOS setting. Now after that I have enabled "USB Legacy Function" from BIOS and then my problem gets solved. I think you should try this solution.

Instead of trying to install windows from USB DVD drive I will suggest you to create bootable flash drive and then install windows with the help of USB flash drive. I hope this information will be helpful for you.
