Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 is no longer supported for database updates, install version 2012
Yesterday I have seen that Kaspersky Anti-virus 2009 is with regular daily updates, does not allow me to open the Facebook anymore. I don’t know where it has been blocked. I have looked all over the software. So I went to get help from the Kaspersky support forum. There I have seen a message saying that Kaspersky Anti-virus 2009 support already ended and there is no database updates for 2009. You have to install Version 2012 in order to get regular updates. Does anyone else notice this?

I hope that you are really looking forward to update each and every one necessary databases and modules of Kaspersky 2009. As far as I know that for this older version there are no automatic updates available from the Kaspersky side but they have provided an alternative method to update the database. For this you need a special update utility. This update utility should be run manually in a different computer or any flash drive. Then place that update folder inside the kaspersky database.

Are you getting any kind of error like "database out of date" or "database is obsolete"?
If so then it seems you have set your updater to manual. Make sure to change it as automatic. Sometimes you will also run into issue when the license has expired. Try updating the database manually. If you are not allowed to update then check whether the license has expired or not. If you still cannot update then contact customer support.
