Auto detection in Qos tab lower the upload speed of Linksys E4200
Hi friends recently, I am facing some of the issue with Linksys E4200. That when I make enabling for auto detection of upstream bandwidth with the help of Qos tab, it lowers the upload speed which is quite less than normal maximum upload speed. Why this issue occurs with Linksys E4200. If you guys have any suggestion or any solution for this then please let me know. Any reply will be thanks and appreciated.
Re: Auto detection in Qos tab lower the upload speed of Linksys E4200
According to my information, just try to make QoS off and see whether you are getting speed up, and if not then download speed is a major problem because this issue mostly occurs if there is issue for there in the downloading speed. And also it is better to make the firmware update to avoid such issue.
Re: Auto detection in Qos tab lower the upload speed of Linksys E4200
This may be the network issue, because some of the time wireless networks fail to provide the required speed. So in order to make the verification for the working of router you can try to connect it with wired connection. And then see whether you are getting the same issue or not. If not then this means that the wireless network that you are using previously was down.

The auto fixed is the best way to overcome this issue, and also this issue is always due to over traffic for the specific download which arise this issue. And also the higher priority services should be prioritized. Some of the time this is due to internet speed issue. If this issue is still there then reboot the routers, rebooting router may be able to overcome this issue.

This issue is may be due to old firmware uses, so try to make use of the latest firmware to be used for your routers. So the better is to make the upgrading of the firmware there to overcome this issue. And after firmware update try to reset the routers, may this will help you out
